HADERLUMP. THE NAME. THE TEAM.

At Haderlump, fashion is a timeless force - an extension of the self, a form of armor. It protects, empowers, and reveals. Our garments are not mere fabric but vessels of individuality, carriers of stories, and shields against a world overwhelmed by homogenization and conformity.

Haderlump

Haderlump itself is a strange word. That's part of the reason we chose it.
In German, it once referred to ragpickers and traveling traders, people who collected old fabrics and gave them new life. Most of what we work with is second-hand or deadstock - we're carrying on a tradition of giving fabric a second life, but through craftsmanship and intentional design.
The name also carries friction. It's not soft or sleek. It makes people pause - and that's exactly what we want. We're not here to blend in; we're here to reframe what's possible.

Haderlump

At the same time, we don't take the word's original associations lightly - poverty, marginalization, disposability. Being aware of our privilges, we know we're walking a fine line. But the awareness reminds us not to take anything for granted: neither the materials, nor the labor.

Haderlump

At the core of Haderlump lies a sense of power. Our garments are made to amplify this feeling through considered materials and silhouettes. What confidence means, however, is deeply personal. For some, it may be found in accentuating the body through fluid draping and movement; for others, in the protection and restraint of rigid, architectural structures. Haderlump creates space for all—without passing judgement.
